Taking a step back

… to look at the big picture:

Before we go any further, it would probably be best if some form of classification was introduced here.

We will be considering, for the time being, some of the oldest religions and those that have, let’s say, “stood the test of time.” And these could further be classified, probably, into 2 supersets: Eastern and Abrahamic religions (not exactly my words though).

We will look into all the religions that are easy to find some information on: mostly due to popularity. But we will also glance at the smaller/not-so-popular, comparatively short-lived religions.
